- Got trained in Dale Carnegie Centre of Excellence, New York and Royal Institute of Public Administration, London, before starting training others in soft skills post-retirement.
- He is also involved in coaching IAS aspirants for interviews and offers free coaching to anyone for any kind of interview.
- Was a member of the Governing Body of prestigious Chitkara University, Chandigarh, Chairman of the two prestigious Salwan Schools in Delhi and had opened CRPF Public School in Delhi.
- Was on the Board of Directors of the prestigious Gymkhana Club, New Delhi and Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the well-known eye hospitals Centre for Sight.
